"Each piece thrown on a wheel in our Kyoto studio. Irregular by nature."
Shiro Studio produces small-batch handmade stoneware finished in ash glaze. Nothing is templated. No two pieces are identical. Each form takes shape slowly — centered, opened, pulled from the earth — and left to speak for itself.
We work in the tradition of wabi-sabi: finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and the quiet marks left by human hands.
